Again with the mounds being surrounded by houses! This one is on the north side of Chillicothe, smack dab in the middle of a densely-built residential neighborhood. Some of the houses are, quite literally, on the edge of the mound. It’s been excavated and restored. It’s a burial site.
Granted, lots of people live near cemeteries... but this would just be creepy.
